smtp mail relay - relaying denied

SMTP Server Timeouts.

SMTP server timeouts are generally quite rare and often only occur on slow connections when sending large email messages or a large number of recipients at the same time - but can also be due to network congestion or overloaded SMTP servers.

Most SMTP timeout errors can be resolved by increasing the timeout period - most email programs (including Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express) support this by going to the 'advanced settings' for your email account and increasing the server timeout from the default (usually 30-60 seconds).

If timeouts happen frequently we would recommend you consider either contacting your ISP or testing with an alternate SMTP mail relay service like AuthSMTP.
